The reconciliation of the Herrnhuters in 1727, which led to the founding of the Moravian Church, was brought about by a celebration of the Holy Communion. Yet, throughout the history of the Christian faith, the Holy Communion has repeatedly been a subject of controversy. There are experiences, that Holy Communion as well as eating in general can both, strengthen and hinder fellowship.
In preparation for UNITY’27, we are offering a series of online discussions, each exploring a different aspect of the theme ‘Food and Reconciliation’. The evenings will take place on the 13th of each month and will be led by various pastors.
